Large shell flower paperweight. Every shell used was collected on Cape Hatteras Beach in North Carolina. The last picture is of the bottom of this large shell flower, nice and smooth, no sharp edges. Great gift for all beach / seashell fans!

The holes represent the predatory work of several varieties of snails, which are also relatives of clams. These predators feed primarily on the abundant clams and their relatives, but also attack limpets and some other types of snails.
